Large Stone Necklace with Redline Marble & Leather Cord

Marble, leather and hand-worked copper combine to create a stunning, understated piece that’s one of a kind, and makes a potent statement.

A large, not-quite-rectangle of redline marble and a smaller, not-quite-oval stone are set on handmade links of oxidized copper wire. The duo hangs from an 18″ leather cord finished with a generously sized, antique copper colored lobster clasp paired with an 8mm, twisted copper jump ring. The marble stones are not polished and have a sleek, matte finish. The large stone is about 1 1/2 x 1 1/4″, and the smaller stone is roughly 3/4 x 1/2″.  The stone assemblage measures 3 1/4 in length including the loop. The necklace measures slightly longer than choker length.

Redline marble is a gorgeous stone that features a matrix of colors from crimson to coral to pink against a putty-colored background.  It has a smooth, almost soapy surface and a pleasant weight. Because of the unique nature of each stone, no two of these marble necklaces will ever be alike.
